In the reception hall the driver will be waiting for you, you can not miss him. The driver has a name plate with your name on it. Negombo is about half an hour away from the airport and is right on the seafront. Stay here for 2 nights in a small-scale hotel with a swimming pool. This is where you can relax after the long journey. The rest of the day can be completed in your own way.

After breakfast you will explore the Negombo area with a local guide. During this cycling tour, visit the city center, a Buddhist temple, the fish market and the fruit and vegetable market. The tasting of the different kinds of tropical fruits is also included here. After cycling, we drive to the little known Kalpitiya Peninsula. It is separated from the mainland by a huge lagoon. It is still wonderfully quiet without bustle in this peninsula..

During the winter months there are huge amounts of dolphins on the coast of Kalpitiya. You're up early today to see them in the sea on a boat. With a little luck you will even encounter the blue whale! You are also acquainted with Hindu culture today through visiting a Shiva temple.
